Description

The Hertz HPC BOOSTER Series is a line of belt driven, high pressure piston compressors designed to withstand up to 580 PSI. This series of compressors features a belt pulley drive system, specially design fan type cast pulley, a star/delta motor starter, and a loadless start system with an automatic discharge system. The piston compressors feature various safety designs, such as an inlet air regulator and a high-pressure switch. There is a by-pass line for protection against high oil pressure.

The compressor block within these units features a cast iron cylinder with cooling fins and special aluminum alloy top heads. The pistons and cast connecting rods are made out of an aluminum alloy. The compressor line comes with a high strength cast iron sump and dynamically balance cast steel crankshaft and counterweight. The units are air-cooled and operate within a low speed, as well as utilizing an electric motor with overload protection.
